is a day training and employment program for a very
special group of multi-handicapped deaf adult clients. The
program is geared towards helping the clients to achieve their
maximum independence. Individuals in the program perform
mail assembly work contracted with local businesses.
The Centerpoint Vocational Workshop gives
adults with disabilities the chance to work in a supportive
environment, providing the opportunity for these individuals to
be personally productive and, as a result, improve self-esteem
and earn pay for the jobs they do.

several million pieces of mail!

The training provided often leads to employment
opportunities for our clients in the community. Our
Supported Employment Program assists job-ready individuals
in applying for employment, and then assists them with
on-the-job training. Ongoing support is then provided to
both the worker and the employer, all at no additional cost to
the employer.
