Residential Housing
Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) Program
The Center on Deafness’ CILA Programs are located in Glenview, IL. The CILA's allow individuals with deafness and developmental disabilities to reside in residential neighborhoods, while providing them with 24 staffing and support. Each residence is staffed with Direct Support Persons, who are available to assist with household responsibilities, meal planning and preparation, medication management, budgeting and financial responsibilities, recreational and leisure time, and community involvement. Each client is provided with individualized care to meet his/her needs while allowing them to be active participants in their communities with the freedom to develop new skills, make independent choices, and gain increased independence.

Supervised Adult Housing
The Center on Deafness’ supervised Residential Programs are located in Northbrook and Glenview IL. These programs allow the clients with Mental Illness to reside in residential neighborhoods with 24 hour staffing and support. Each residence is staffed with Mental Health Professionals, who provide training and assistance with household responsibilities, meal planning and preparation, medication management, budgeting and financial responsibilities, recreational and leisure time, and community involvement. Each client is provided with individualized care to meet his/her needs while allowing them to be active participants in their communities to develop new skills, increase self esteem, and gain independence.
