Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)

​Do you enjoy helping others? Do you have a passion for serving the mental health/ behavioral health population? Then Center on Deafness is looking for you! We are currently hiring Awake Overnight DSPs for our adult residential programs.

Shifts Available:

10:45pm-8:45am

Job Duties Include:

• Supervise clients to ensure safety and well-being
• Assisting and teaching ADLs such as food preparation, laundry, and other household tasks
• Facilitating client community outings including driving
• Facilitating individual and group skill-building activities in the areas of daily living, social skills, and independent living skills.
• Encourage positive relationship building
• Implement treatment plans
• Timely completion of all required documentation
• Complete written documentation timely

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Minimum high school diploma
• Experience is preferred
• Sign Language is preferred but will train
• Sensitivity, awareness, and understanding of the client's needs
• Ability to handle disruptive behaviors in a calm, professional manner
• Ability to pass a background check

• CPI training offered

We are currently hiring DSPs for our adult residential programs and community day services programs. We currently have full-time and part-time openings. Schedules may include day shift hours, evening hours, or a combination of the two.

Shifts Available:
PMS- 3:15pm-10:45pm
Weekends- 9:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-11:00pm
Days- 8:30-3:30
